Author : Barry Cunningham

Okay, so you've picked up the baddest set of dubs, you've got the bass kickin' it from the trunk, and you're ride is pimped to the max right? Wrong! You gotta have a train horn!

What's a train horn you ask? Adding a train horn to your ride is one of the loudest statement you can make about your truck or car And I do mean loud!

You've seen the videos have'nt you? Imagine putting 150db under the hood Roll up next to someone posing thinking they have something going on and give them a blast of your trian horn and they won't know what hit them

Train horns aren't for the meek Ya gotta have a set on you if you are going to be a train horn owner And trust me Your horn will let everybody else know as well

You can install a train horn kit on just about any vehicle Want to see something funny? Search the Internet for videos on train horns and you'll crack up Train horns are just what they say They are air horns that were made for trains You've heard them Imagine them on your car as you roll through your hood Massive fun there

Train horns are powered via air supply which comes from a small compressor and stored in an air tank Once initiated, the valve quickly releases the air causing the powerful honk to come to life Horn kits range from $299 to well over $2,000

There are several horns, compressors, and tanks to choose from making them compatible with virtually any vehicle! Most kits come with everything you need to install and starting blasting Some horns are also all chrome, so they look great on your car or truck

Adding a train horn to your ride can be really cool If your in traffic, and someone decides to starting coming over to your lane, you can give a friendly honk, or you can let them know you don't play games!

Train horns are quite easy to install but if you prefer not to do it yourself, an auto repair shop that is competent and experienced in the installation of car alarms, custom car stereos and other after market accessories should be able to get the job done for you

Your train horn is designed to be very loud and you will most assuredly get noticed when you use it

So please, if you decide to purchase a kit, please use it responsibly

Barry Cunningham is a Train Horn enthusiast and recommends www.TrainHornsDirect.com.

Train Horns can be a lot of fun and are a must have on the ultimate pimped out ride.

Syndication Source: Article Mind

Author : Kerry Ng

If you're comfortable to own antique cars, then you likely aware that there's just no feeling like it Being able to drive around in a Corvette or Mustang or any muscle car when it was first constructed is a thrill like no other Sure, today's cars have their appeal and in many ways are more safer than these classics, but many of these antique cars were made with a craftsmanship that you can't find anywhere today They are more than just machines; they are beautiful pieces of artwork

But to really realize the most life out of your antique cars it's essential that you study unique care of them Same as older person has different needs when it arrives to that "maintenance" level than a younger person, earlier cars demand a bit more care than warm wish than one rolling off the lot today

Your initial question might be about the difference between antique cars and classical cars Understand that there is really a law stating that a car needs to be 25 years old before it can actually be technically called antique Even So, the word "classic" is not a technological term and some that is exactly used to identify any car that many another soul Your brand new Mustang may be a classic to many other but apparently cannot be called an antique

When it arrives to wishing for antique cars think back that some of their pieces are very old and somewhat broken out; this is something that many proprietors leave because frequently they take great pains to fix the consistency and outside of the car and forget that hoses, belts, pumps, and other mechanical features are in less than stellar condition Putting plenty of wear on antique cars by racing the engine, jerky braking, and maneuvers like these is just going to add more wear and tear on those parts that are in all probability already straining as it is It's significant then to as well make certain the fluids and crude of the car are modified on a regular basis, as these help to sustain those components on the car and keep them in good order

Driving carefully is just one part of taking care of antique cars They should be stored in good order, out of harsh weather circumstances that might cause rust, and should also be covered as well The type of paint that was utilized on may antique cars cannot stand up to the acid rain and pollution that today's paints are fashioned to

Remember too that if you are in the habit of selecting out some of your antique cars for a drive, always get the proper insurance policy for them Many auto insurance parties specialize in this type of coverage and can come up with a policy that is designed around how much and how far you typically drive the vehicle - many antique cars are used only for trips and exhibitions, whereas many of the antiques we may call "muscle cars" are applied on sporting weekends

Want to learn more about the world of antiques?
Author : Steve Tarini

Have you ever been to a quick lube and they try to up sell you on their high mileage oil for vehicles with over 75,000-miles? Why would an oil company make an oil specifically for cars with over 75,000-miles? Some of these slick marketing oil companies want you to believe there are special additives in this oil not found in their original motor oils

What's seems odd about this unusual marketing approach is if you listen to what they are saying it's almost like they blame there other oils for why your engine is in such bad shape It's amazing that your seals need to be reconditioned and all the sludge cleaned out right when your car hits 75,000 miles

If these High Mileage Oils do such a good job and making your engine seem like new again then why not just make all your oil as good as the High Mileage Oils? If you're using the exact same brand of oil that makes the high mileage oils wouldn't you have to wonder how your engine got so dirty

And don't be fooled by one oil company offering 300,000 miles engine guarantee Let's get real for a minute First, do you really plan on keeping your car that long? Second, another requirement is to use their highest priced synthetic oil, which is $64 00 for every oil change 95 for each oil change The guarantee requires you to logon to the internet and record all your oil changes Do you really want to be bothered with all the extra work just to keep this guarantee if affect

I don't remember exactly what year it was, but the year after a well known oil company introduced the first High Mileage Oil they won a "Product of the Year" award Can you believe that? Sounds like someone owed someone a favor What it should have been was the most clever advertising campaign award We have tested several of the High Mileage Oils against a very high quality synthetic oil and there was a clear difference in engine cleanliness, fuel mileage and performance Synthetic oils especially the longer drain synthetic oils offer so much more then the high mileage oils

The extra money you pay for High Mileage Oils is exactly what the oil companies want you to do These cost about fifty extra cents per quart to make, yet they make an extra ten dollars on every oil change Although higher quality synthetic oils are a better choice, but you feel the high mileage oils have some value then you would be better off using them at your first oil change A better option is to look at some of the longer drain interval synthetics on the market These oils increase your fuel mileage and you don't have to change your oil for 15,000-25,0000 miles

Author-Steve Tarini has been testing motor oils for over 14 years with Amsoil Synthetic Lubricants. In every test we ever conducted with high mileage oils there was no noticeable difference when compared against regular petroleum oils.
Author : Jim Brown

Some travelers have perfect credit histories and have no problem whatsoever when renting a car for any length of time There are other travelers who are not as fortunate and have many obstacles to overcome when renting a car Some of these obstacles will involve laws and others will encompass financial reasoning Once these obstacles are overcome though, a travel can enjoy the rest of their journey

The first obstacle that a traveler must detour around is finding a rental car location that has the type of automobile that they need Even perfect drivers who are overweight can not fit into a compact sized automobile and derive any type of enjoyment while driving it When they locate a luxury sized automobile that gives them extra space in the midriff, a pudgy waist driver will feel more comfortable with the rental agreement that they are signing

Some rental car agencies give young drivers many hurdles to overcome in order to receive a rental car The new drivers must possess a valid credit card that has enough of a balance on it to pay for the entire rental ahead of time Some credit card companies will only give young drivers low credit limits which are inadequate for renting a vehicle for even one week Young drivers will learn very quickly how to work around these obstacles and be in the drivers seat before the ink is dry on the contract

Some rental car agencies are willing to work with customers to meet their needs If a credit card has a low limit, they are willing to make several rental contracts for the same rental automobile and adjust the dates so that the rentals run consecutively The customer must make payments on the credit card during their travels but this is just a minor inconvenience to those who want to get where they are going to without any further obstacles in their way

Some travelers will use a variety of coupons to avoid obstacles that stand in their way when renting a car They might choose a compact car because an upgrade coupon will save them quite a few dollars When the rental car agency does not have compact cars in their fleet, then car renters can get a larger car for the price of the compact that is in an ad or on a coupon they have

Some obstacles require extra maneuvering and caution when renting an automobile A driver might be forced to pay additional charges for insurance because the automobile insurance policy they have does not include the rental of cars or damage that might occur when people park them at night Some drivers lower the rental rates by stating that they have coverage and drive very carefully during their travels with nobody being the wiser

James Brown writes about Avis promo code, Enterprise Rent-A-Car web code and dollar.com coupon

Syndication Source: Article Mind

Unlike many engines, boxer auto engines have pistons that lie in a horizontal position It also has cylinders that lie on each side, opposing each other Other engine models have pistons that lie on a v-angle position Another unique feature of boxer engine is the presence of a crank pin per piston In other engine models, pistons share a single crank pin The effect of these features minimizes vibrations thus enhancing a smooth ride Boxer auto engine acquired this name because pistons seem to "box" each other because of their counteracting motion One moves in opposite motion against the other This creates a balance within the engine which maintains a smooth operation and longevity

Author : Alan Largo

Aren't you tired and fed up of all the money you fork out on fueling up your gas tank? Just imagine for a moment about being able to run your car on water for fuel purposes This would be a remarkable savings - your wallet left full of money at the gas pumps, every time you go to fill up your car Ultimately, you will be saving thousands of dollars yearly on gasoline!

In order to use water as a fuel source for ignition inside your car, you first must need to change the water successfully into separate properties If you happen to be a mechanically inclined person, this should be simple for you to tackle once you obtain the elements that are necessary along with the instructions
These gases are hydrogen and oxyhydrogen It is essentially switching around the same exact three atoms found in H2O or water This water is then altered into a gas, which is called HHO

Author : Tom Sample

Almost no one wants to deal with a move Although it's exciting to get a new place, the packing, lifting and unpacking just aren't fun Hiring movers might be an option for some, but for others the added expense takes away from other necessities they may need in the new place Those looking to save a little money might benefit from a truck lease Rather than having to round up every truck you can get your hands on and a ton of friends to drive and load, a single large moving truck on a lease can solve a lot of problems

Before running out and leasing a big moving truck, however, it's a good idea to assess what you really need If you're moving from a tiny studio apartment, it's not likely you'll need a massive truck to get the job done But, if you have the contents of a whole home, you just might

Truck rental agreements can be a little confusing for someone who's never leased before

* Exact rental dates Make sure you have arranged for the truck for the days and hours you need it Don't leave this to chance There's nothing worse than having 10 friends show up to help you move and finding out the truck you need has been rented to someone else for that day

* Pricing Does the rental fee include mileage, too, or will that be an extra expense? Ask

* Return policy Know where you need to bring the truck back to when you're done If you're moving in town, this will be easy But, cross-country moves may require a map for the drop off location

* Is a full tank required upon return? If it is, you'll want to make sure this is completed before you turn the truck in

* Is insurance offered If it is, you likely will want to buy it unless your regular car policy will cover the truck from any damage while you're driving it

Once you've determined these things, you should be set to make the lease Get a truck that meets your needs and isn't too big for you to handle Be certain to understand the terms of the lease and don't forget to check on rental dates and confirm the reservation

Before you pick up the truck, make sure:

* You've done your packing

* Make sure breakables have been secured

* Clearly label boxes so friends who are helping don't put 50 pounds of books on top of your china!

* Make certain valuable items that won't go on the truck, or shouldn't, have been set aside so no one will load them This includes such things as important papers, expensive antiques and even electronic devices

A rental truck can really help make a move go more smoothly Getting ready for the big day before you get the big truck, however, can also be a big assistance

#1 Resource

Author : Dominic Donaldson

Car sales may have managed to avoid the effects of the credit crunch up until now but there are signs that this is about to change 2008 has proved a difficult time for the motor industry As well as other considerations like the price of fuel and an increasing emphasis on greener more fuel efficient and ecologically friendly products car manufacturers and owners have had to take a long hard look at their behavior and face some difficult decisions

2009 looks like it will continue in the same vain Predictions are varied but some say that next year could see 0% growth in new car sales With the credit crunch now well and truly being felt across the board and with no let up in sight, everyone is having to reassess their behavior and adjust their short term and long term plans accordingly

The executive car market is set to suffer over the coming months as the first things to be put on hold or even cancelled completely are almost always luxury items Whether it's the choice between buying a twenty pound shirt and a hundred pound shirt or buying a hardback or paperback book we are all having to answer questions that we didn't have only a few years ago Car leasing companies are no different

Perhaps one question that will be asked increasingly over the coming months is 'shall I hire or buy?' In light of this and the economic gloom, car leasing companies, it seems, are offering more products and more services to accommodate increasingly particular customers As well as new car lease and hire, many companies now offer a used care service as well But sometimes a new car is what is needed to create the right impression Here are examples from three leading manufacturers of what is available from leasing companies

Jaguar leasing - The Jaguar X-Type Diesel Saloon manages to stay true to the classic look of the X-Type without looking retro or out of place The interior is everything you'd expect from a Jag'; beautifully finished throughout with a real feeling of class The controls and LCD panels are larger than those of many of its competitors which make them easy to distinguish but may be too big for those looking for something a bit more modern and dynamic looking Driving the vehicle is smooth and almost effortless It may not be the most refined drive, you still know you're in a diesel, but there's power when you need it and if your set on Jaguar leasing then it is certainly worth a look

Mercedes leasing - The Mercedes-Benz S Class Diesel Saloon is complete luxury With fifty years of history and development behind it you'd expect nothing less from the S-Class The interior is roomy and a lot of thought has gone into the design of the instruments both ergonomically and aesthetically It's probably one of the most user friendly cars in its class With the added advantage of being economical without sacrificing power it's sure to fair well in the leasing market

BMW leasing - The BMW 1 Series Diesel Coupe has a drastically improved new high performance engine BMW have achieved an impressive balance between top end performance and fuel efficiency The combination of balanced handling and an engine that responds well in all conditions makes the BMW a serious contender in its class The fact that it is lighter and less expensive than many of its rivals makes it a very attractive proposition indeed

Dominic Donaldson is an expert in the car leasing industry.

Author : Paul Fitzgerald

The International Race of Champions or IROC was an auto racing competition which was promoted as an equivalent to an All-Star Game or the Masters Drivers raced identically-prepared stock cars that were set up by a single team of mechanics in an effort to make the race purely a test of driving ability

The race was run with 6-12 invited drivers It was created in 1973 by Riverside International Raceway President Les Richter, Mike Phelps and Roger Penske Mark Donahue was the first driver to win the championship in 1974 He was driving a sports car, a Porsche Carrera RSRs

In 2007, IROC could no longer find any sponsor and postponed its first two races at Texas and Daytona It went hiatus on 2007 but hoped to return with sponsors in 2008 However on March 7, 2008 IROC announced auctioning its off tools, equipments, and memorabilia After 30 years, IROC closed down

Volkswagen tried to name one of its cars with the moniker "IROC" on it But this one did not directly refer to the race It was a concept car presented at the 2006 Paris Motor Show The Volkswagen IROC has a 210 bhp version of VW's TSI twin charged engine The name IROC was a play over Scirocco since its name has the central letters of the word "scIROCco" in it

Author : Andrew Stratton

If you are in Garland, Texas and need to buy a car, consider yourself fortunate The Garland, Texas auto dealers offer cars of every make, model, shape, size, and color The local banks offer many different types of car loans with low interest rates and flexible repayment options But the many selections offered by Garland, Texas auto dealers aren't helpful at all if you have never had the experience of buying a car before Of course, if you are a veteran, you will find the process only gets easier with time But if this is your first time, you may feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of things to consider and important choices to make And if you remain uninformed, where will you find the guidance you need about which choices are the correct ones? You may end up making rookie mistakes and overpaying But don't fret, there is still hope even for those with no previous experience

Your first goal should be to know exactly what you want when you walk into the Garland, Texas auto dealer showroom or lot If you don't already have in mind the kind of car you want, that should be your top priority Figure it out beforehand, rather than going to the lot and "browsing" in hopes of seeing something you like You could end up with something that you don't really want Car salespeople have a reputation for being slick and convincing, and Garland, TX auto dealer sales personnel may be no different It's particularly true if you seem to be a lost sheep when it comes to picking a car You will be presented with some deals that seem unbeatable, and deals that you must "act now" on or they will be gone forever In the heat of the moment, you may be convinced to buy a car that you wouldn't have otherwise considered But, believe me, if you walk away or take time to consider your options, those deals will still be waiting -- or even get better So plan out exactly what you want, and don't be willing to settle for anything less

With your exact requirements in mind, you're not likely to wind up with something you don't really want And if you do a little research, you can also know the right price for the car that appeals to you Therefore, you can feel confident going out on the lots and looking around for the best car for you The buying process will also be greatly shortened, since you can say to the salesman right away what you do -- or do not -- want If they don't have that particular car available, you will leave and move on to the next lot

But what do you do when you finally find the car you've been wanting? Well, first you try and get the best price from that Garland, TX auto dealer Rarely are sale prices final, and you can most likely talk the salesman down a bit Make it seem as if you're okay with going on to other auto dealers (which you should be), and don't appear too desperate for the car This could save you several hundred dollars

Finally, the loan is probably the most important aspect of buying a car Always look at all local lenders and inquire about car loans Keep a record of interest rates offered by each bank, and you will be able to compare them and make the best long-term financial decision It's almost always best to avoid financing your car with the auto dealer

If you need more assistance, there are many online utilities which will guide you step-by-step through the auto buying process -- from finding a loan, to driving the car away from the Garland Texas auto dealer lot These services are quite useful, and will allow you to enter exact search parameters to find the best deal on the car you want One thing is sure, if you are properly prepared, you will no doubt be able to quickly and easily find your perfect fit in a new car

For the complete Garland Texas Area Guide with information on the city of Garland TX, House Mortgages, Hotels, Garland Restaurants, Garland Texas Real Estate, Garland Yellow Pages please visit http://garlandtx.areaguides.net/.
Author : Eddie Lamb

Protecting a home is extremely important because your family, investment and memories can be harmed by natural elements, broken into by burglars or vandals, or consumed by fire The good thing is that a house can't be stolen as most homes are not portable A car, on the other hand, needs to be protected from all of the things that can harm a house plus the fact that it can be stolen

The whole purpose of a car is portability - it has wheels and a motor It even has seats, air conditioning and a radio to make a car thief feel comfortable while he makes off with it What's car owner to do? The car owner should start by deciding what kind of auto security system he needs and balance this with what he is prepared to pay

Your Car's Security Needs

The typical car alarm emits a piercing sound when it is opened or touched Unfortunately, so many car alarms sound false alarms, that no one really pays attention to them unless one wakes someone up Some localities have even restricted the use of alarms if they don't have auto turn-offs or are too loud The moral of the story is much like the moral of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf "

Most new cars come equipped with some kind of security system One kind of modern auto security system immobilizes the car unless it's started with the proper key Another popular system includes a locator that will find the car if it is missing However, this kind of auto security system usually requires an ongoing fee If there is any chance at all that a child could be in a car when it is stolen, the monthly fee will pay for many a good night's rest

Before you decide on adding an auto security system, look at your car's security needs If you have a home garage, it might be better to work on the garage security A light system that's triggered by a motion detector can discourage an opportunistic thief while allowing the neighbors to sleep through false alarms Those raccoons can generate enough motion to be detected

If you drive your car to work, however, your home garage security won't be of much help during the work week Some businesses have secure parking available for employees Others are located near mass transit - making your home garage security very good An immobilizer doesn't protect a car from vandalism or the potential loss of its contents or parts A two-way auto security system can alert you when the car is being threatened in some way Look into how you use your car and what types of threats it is exposed to then check with the experts to find the effective auto security system for you

Eddie Lamb publishes an abundance of information on a range of topical subjects.
Author : Jim Brown

Everyone would take advantage of a deal if it was designed to save them loads of cash The three big savings on automotive deals does just that Automobile buyers flock to car dealerships that offer extra benefits and many more travel there if there is a rumor floating that the automobile dealers are in the mood to part with actual cash Some of the cash discounts are never seen except on paper, but the difference in the bottom line will send rivets of tingles down a prospective automobile buyer's spine Those automotive deals though are only good for a limited time

*	One of the big savings that a prospective automobile buyer might discover is on the delivery charges for a brand new automobile Some dealerships will waive delivery charges if the customer buys them before they come off the delivery truck Moving inventory is what automobile dealers are in business for and moving them that fast saves them the charges of getting the car ready for sale Passing up a car that is freshly washed for savings that are 300 to 500 dollars is a deal that prospective buyer's rarely pass up

*	Getting rid of old Bessie might save some automobile owners some cash If the automobile is in good operating condition with a few minor flaws it is quite possible that the automobile dealership will buy it from them to sell later to someone else Technicians can fix car body imperfections and spruce up the interior with a good cleaning Automotive engine troubles can be fine tuned by other technicians The trade in value of old Bessie could give automobile owners up to 1000 to 3000 off the list price of a brand new automobile

*	Automobile manufacturers want people to purchase their brand of automobile, truck, SUV or economy classes so many have been offering rebate incentives for years These incentives have been known to reduce the list price of the automobile from 500 to 3000 and the payment of this money comes in the wording of cash back but of course, this type of cash offer is only available to bring down the price of the new automobile Automotive deals can truly explode when there are additional savings that go with the car Some economy cars come with energy savings discounts because going green is going to help save our planet

The savings on automobile deals offered by dealers is negotiable Some dealerships will allow customers to bargain them down to where it is profitable for both of them Some dealers will allow customers additional discounts if certain tires are issued with the automobile instead of the ones that were installed by the manufacturing plant People can reduce the price of a car just by ordering it direct from the factory Money is saved by the customer when they decline certain amenities These are special features on the car that they know they do not want or need Most automobiles have standard features that will not change but the extras can be eliminated if it means that it will save people money and make the automobile more affordable to own

James Brown writes about Motorcycle-Superstore.com coupon, AutoAnything.com coupon and PartsTrain.com coupon

Syndication Source: Article Mind

What you need to do immediately is get a vehicle history report on the vehicle you are considering purchasing Vehicle history reports unfortunately, however, will not list all damage that has been done to a vehicle; only what has been reported to the insurance company will show up If the previous owner allowed the vehicle to be flooded or ran it into a lake or creek and did not report it because they did not want their insurance to go up, then it won't show up A vehicle history report is important, but you should understand that not everything will be included on it

Open the car up and at least sit in it first to make sure you like the feel While you're doing this, take a deep breath through your nose and make sure you don't smell anything funny If it smells musty, the carpet or padding inside the upholstery may have mold in it If the vehicle smells more like flowers or air freshener, the seller may be trying to cover up something

Crank up the car and be certain that all electronic items are working in the car, including the radio, any digital displays, and etcetera Many components in newer vehicles are electronic and if the vehicle is flooded, this could short out the circuitry and cause it to malfunction Make sure you test everything including windshield wipers, turn signals, and the lights

The wires in the panel under the dashboard should not be cracked or brittle in any way If they are, then they might have been exposed to humidity

Open the trunk and look around It should be clean and there should be no musty smell inside of it Look for signs of rust around the tail lights and any sign of sand or sediment This could mean that it has been exposed to rain Seeing rust could mean that the car is from an area of high humidity, but take this into account before making a judgment on whether you think it was flooded or not You should also look under the car seats and other areas where sand or sediment may find their way into

Aydan Corkern is a writer of many topics, visit some of her sites, like

Author : James Monahan

Volvo has the honor of being the first to implement seat belts in 1849 The first U S patent for automobile seat belts was issued to Edward J Claghorn of New York, New York on February 10, 1885

This patent was described as a Safety-Belt for tourists that was "designed to be applied to a the person, and provided with hooks and other attachments for securing the person to a fixed object "

Failure to wear seat belts is responsible for more fatalities than any other single traffic behavior In all of the traffic accidents reported for 1999, 63% of fatalities were not wearing seat belts

Wearing a seat belt use is still the single most effective thing we can do to prevent unnecessary traffic deaths and injuries on America's roadways

Traffic data suggests that education alone is not enough to convince young people, especially males from ages 16 to 25 of the dangers of not using seat belts This age group is caught up in the belief in their immortality due to their young age

It is this age group that also exhibits the most violation of drunk driving laws They are also the most prone to speeding, and other traffic related law violations

Because of this, it has been suggested that stronger seat belt laws and higher visibility enforcement campaigns be enforced to make them buckle up

Seat belts are the most effective safety devices in vehicles today, estimated to save 9,500 lives each year If 90 percent of Americans buckle up, it could prevent more than 5,500 deaths and 132,000 injuries annually

The cost of unbuckled drivers and passengers goes beyond those killed and the loss to their families Everyone pays for this negligence It may be in the form of higher taxes, higher health insurance fees, and higher medical costs

Imagine running as fast as you can, into a wall You'd expect to get pretty banged up What if while running at full speed a wall suddenly appeared in front of you? Would you be able to stop instantaneously?

This is exactly the situation one faces when the front of his or her car hits something at only 15 miles an hour The car stops in the first tenth of a second, but you keep on at the same rate you were going in the car until something stops you, the steering wheel, dashboard or windshield, if you're not wearing your safety belt

If this could happen at 15 miles an hour, imagine what a 30 mile per hour collision would result in? It would be the same as hitting the pavement after a 3 story fall

A properly worn safety belt keeps that second collision - the human collision, from happening

"Properly worn" means with both straps safely fitted to transfer the impact of the collision to the parts of your body that can take it, the hipbones and shoulder bones

With just the shoulder strap on, one can still slide out from under and get strangled The lap belt alone doesn't keep one's face from hitting the steering wheel or other parts of the car

Wearing seat belts is the law in most countries There really isn't any reason not wear them aside from plain laziness But imagine, that investment of a couple of seconds before you carry on to drive could save your life Why not make that commitment to invest now?

James Monahan is the owner and Senior Editor of

Author : Cheow Yu Yuan

sized chrome rims for your car, if you do have a good car audio system, all of those mentioned above are useless To enjoy a good experience with your car, a good car audio system is a must to have

As you know that having a poor car audio system will definitely spoil the experience when you are driving your favourite toy Although the investment for a good system is steep, it is definitely worth to have for the marvellous experience that you are going to enjoy However, not all expensive system performs well if they are not installed properly Therefore, be sure to hand it to a professional if you are not proficient enough to do a good job

How do we determine whether an audio system is good or great? The answer is that only you can decide as it must first exceed your expectations If you find that the new system that you are testing is way much better than your current system, then that one is definitely better

The type of car you drive also play an important role in what kind of car audio system you should build As most of what hear inside a car is a recording of the original artist in a given environment, the music are played in a totally different environment with us being placed in awkward listening positions relative to the placement of the speakers This will give us a poor listening experience A great audio system is created with the understanding of acoustics, basic electronics and the different products that are to be used

To prevent you from getting a poor listening experience due to different environments, you should compare your audio system and experience it live in as many different environments as possible One of the best ways to compare is to visit car audio conventions As you move from exhibit to exhibit, you can notice the difference in sound characteristics of each system By doing so, you will be able to find some systems that you prefer over others Once you have found your favourite, as for the specs from the promoters

There are many benefits in getting aftermarket speakers Firstly, they have a larger frequency response which means that there is more music coming through your speakers Secondly they have more power handling capabilities and are able to increase your car audio system bass

Lastly, other than getting the right speakers, you need to have good amplifiers Weak amplifiers damage good car audio speakers With a good amplifier, it can help eliminate distortion and improve the sound clarity tremendously One way to test whether an amplifier is good, you can turn the stereo system above half volume and if the sound is not distorted, you can consider getting it

A good car audio system is something to show for It can bring satisfaction to you, and to those who will witness it

To find quality car accessories, car audio and servicing, visit the website below now:
